2020 has brought much change to Diffraction International, and to the world. For me personally, the change began earlier, as a medical event in November of 2019, from which I have now mostly recovered. After 10 years at the Baker Road office, I have down-sized Diffraction International (no staff) and moved it back into my residence, from which it operated for its first 16 years.
I am now 69. I intend to continue working, part-time, without a fixed schedule. The business phone rings to my dual-SIM iPhone. Customer data and records remain intact and secure. CGH tools and inventory are mostly unpacked and accessible. I may elect to locally outsource testing and assembly tasks. Diffraction's ISO 9001 certification is invalidated by the change of location, but the procedures and methods are unchanged.
